• Maverick makes Deloitte Fast 500

Maverick Digital has been named in the Deloitte 2019 Asia Pacific Technology Fast 500.

The awards, which recognizes businesses who are in the process of ‘combining technical innovation, entrepreneurship and rapid growth’, named the Auckland-based Tourism Marketing agency as #250 on the list.

Founder and Head of Strategy Alex Dykman says the award comes off the back of a year of innovation, team growth and really fining what “best practice” looks like in the digital space for the tourism industry.

“Digital transformation in tourism is one of the most dynamic and exciting spaces to work in.

“We’re chuffed to be recognized for using tech to transform the way business is done in tourism. At the heart of our growth is a real passion to help our industry be empowered by digital,” says Alex.

Maverick began in 2014, with clients including Hobbiton, Bay of Plenty Tourism, Tamaki Māori Village and Tairāwhiti Gisborne.

The awards recognize large, small, public and private technology companies across a variety of industries, and cover the entire Asia Pacific region including China.

Maverick Digital is ranked as the 13th New Zealand company within the list.

Other notable NZ tourism technology companies who made the Top 500 include Wherewolf who came in at #240, and the OTA Bookme which was named at #270.
